Expressions of Interest

Expressions of interest are currently being sought from a suitably qualified person to be a member of Council’s Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee. Independent members will be appointed for the term of the Council. The independent member will have a broad range of skills and experience relevant to the operations of Council.

Council has one external independent position to fill on the Committee, which will meet a minimum of four times a year in Mudgee.

An information pack outlining the experience and skills required and a copy of the Committee’s Charter is available on Council’s website www.midwestern.nsw.gov.au.

All applications are to be addressed to the General Manager and are to be submitted via email to council@midwestern.nsw.gov.au by no later than 4.00pm 5 April 2024.

Mudgee Community Transport is currently seeking volunteer drivers to assist in providing friendly, personal and caring transport for the frail aged and disabled and their carers, as well as those in the community at a disadvantage because of limited public transport services. 

Volunteers drive Council fleet vehicles to various locales; including Mudgee, Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst, Lithgow and Sydney and choose to drive a variety of hours. Meal allowances are provided to volunteers and fuel is paid from funding received through Transport for NSW and other funding bodies.

Expressions of interest can be lodged with Mudgee Community Transport at the Carmel Croan Community Centre.
