Essential road works will be carried out on the Henry Lawson Bridge over Pipe Clay Creek, Eurunderee. The works will commence on 6 May over a two-week period.

An emergency preparedness exercise is being held at Mudgee Airport on Monday 6 May, 9:00am to 12:30pm. The primary objective of the exercise is to identify areas for improvement enhancing safety measures and preparedness in the event of an actual emergency while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The Gulgong Eisteddfod showcases the talents of the youth in our region in three disciplines: Dance, Music and Speech. The Eisteddfod gives competitors the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience and professional adjudicators and receive valuable feedback. For many it is an important springboard into varied careers within the performing arts.

In 2021, Council adopted a new Mudgee Township and Surrounds Flood Study to assess flood risk in accordance with the key controls of Probable Maximum Flood level for riverine flooding and overland flow; and update the existing Flood Planning Area (FPA) to incorporate the new information.
The business case for an indoor pool in Mudgee has progressed with an interim report presented to Council in September.
